'Nasi sela'  or  'Nasi jagung' and 'dry chopped rice - Nasi Cacah ' is a perennial food that is never forgotten and have become part of my life. The life of Balinese lady from Sampalan Kelod village, Klungkung.

My eyes will never be closed, if not exhausted enjoy ' Kalimoto porridge '  made by my beautiful grandmother. My grand-mom .. took the young chili leafs and boiled with white rice. Served with a spicy sauce typical of Klungkung Bali, topping by sprinkle of crunchy fried soy beans and serving in warm .... !! How beautiful and skillful of grand-mom and always used natural ingredients from our home garden.

Kuta beach sunset will never be forgotten. Sunlight is back in hiding, changing starry night on the road is full of charm, full of romantic memories, cheerful with family and beloved friends on  "Jalan Legian, Kuta, Bali Island !!

The song of Balinese Cuisine Art and  native sanctuary culture keep going from generation to generation. We will never forget the taste of 'Chicken – Ayam Betutu "- Baked chicken betutu with betel leaves from Ubud, Bali.

'Base genep' - Bali spices are used on making 'Chicken - Ayam Betutu' typical Klungkung, Bali. Chicken is cooked by 'steaming' until tender, grated turmeric and coconut oil smeared on the outside of the chicken, add the savory flavor of chicken betutu.

Chicken Betutu is presented as the offerings to the temples of the Hindu religious ceremony, Bali. Chicken Betutu usually served with ' Jukut ares ' –  Bali vegetables  made from young banana stems and ‘ Brengkes ‘  made from the heart and lungs - pulmonary of chicken.

It is wonderful days, when enjoying 'Chicken betutu' dish with beloved family.





Muslim history “ The tomb of Habib Bin Ali Bin Abubakar Abubakar Umar Bin Al Khamid. It is located on the right of Kusamba coast, Klungkung, Bali Island.
On Kusamba village we can meet the oldest Al-Qur'an has recognized nearly 400 years old. The oldest Al-Quran handwritten by great scholars from Bugis.

 'Sambal nyuh - Coconut mixed paste and delicious peanut sauce with a distinctive flavor of Klungkung, Bali. Introduce 'Serombotan' - favorite food community of Klungkung, Bali. The meal was served with boiled green vegetables and beans, such as kale, sprouts, beans, peanut curry, beans ‘undis, pare. Raw vegetables such as; eggplant round, raw bean sprouts also served together into this 'Serombotan'.

Rice cake 'Ketupat' wrapped in young coconut leaves 'Busung', cutting and served with 'Serombotan'. Normally we deliver 'Serombotan' for ‘ perasmanan ‘ – Family gathering in our home, with beloved family.
